Casio GR8900A 7 G Shock Tough Digital
I have small wrists and the thing is big but fits. Not bulky or heavy as I would have thought (which is a good thing). Solid construction (as expected for a G-Shock). Doesn't squeak like another poster commented about. Great illumination - light blue text on dark purple background...very easy to see in the dark. Digits not as easy to see in daylight as other watches, but you'd be buying those watches if 100% clarity was your number one priority. This isn't hard to see per se, just not as easy as others. It might take you maybe a millisecond or more than usual to make out the digits. If you're like me, you're gonna end up looking at your watch, immediately forgetting the time and having to look at it again.
Easy to set up and pretty sweet arm candy (though a hot woman would definitely trump this). I put it on and don't feel all full of douchebaggery that people with big bright watches are prone to having.
Simple concept - big white watch with cool functions that can take an ass-kicking.
3rd G-Shock Solar --- its the only watch i trust, tough, never have to worry about batteries. Prefer it over my Suunto

This watch was a birthday present for my grandson's 17th birthday. He loved it, and hugged me about four times at his birthday dinner.
BalasHapusI love my watches and the G-Shock Solar should last a long, long time and I love that I will not ever have to replace the battery. The non illuminated mode in low lighting is a little lower than I would hope for, but with the right rotation, you can get a glimpse of the time,otherwise you push the G button and light it up!
BalasHapusI absolutely love this watch! I wear it during all of my activities: running, surfing, crossfit, sailing, tennis, and soccer. It's a rugged tough looking watch. I get compliments on it daily. The black screen looks great and I am really loving the blue night light. Also, you can't go wrong with the solar battery!

BalasHapusI already own G-shocks in "military black' and "olive green" colors and this watch stands out amongst the others in my collection. The all white and the black accents harkens to the look of the "Stormtroopers" of the "Star Wars" movies. The resin coating on the band is a bit different, but it's does not take away from the stunning look of the watch. I paid less than retail at the local mall, and the sales accoc. even made a funny remark regarding the styling of this watch. She said "I though us women had an obsession with shoes, but since working here, I found that guys are far more worse with collecting G-shocks" I found her statement so true and I'm living proof, I own more G-shocks than I have arms to wear them.
