Skagen Womens 656LSLD Movement Chronograph
I received the Skagen slim black leather watch (271SSLB) as a present last December and found it so beautiful that I wanted another Skagen watch to match with my tan/taupe attire. Wanting also a watch with a wider band, I went with this quartz chronograph watch here and couldn't be more satisfied. The watch is beautiful, just as stunning and subtle as a watch can be. The leather is soft, the face is minimal, and the combination quartz + wide band beautifully creates a beautiful compliment for a petite wrist. It might be hard to imagine from the photo, but the watch, rather than overwhelming a woman's wrist (typically smaller and more slight than the average male wrist) maintains a soft/pretty flair with the quartz and adds a strong look of independence. Since there are so few wide-band women's watches, I tried several men's (and a couple other wide-band women's) watches to no avail. This is the only one that manages not to overtake the size of a petite wrist with a giant watch and that maintains a soft appearance without the overwhelming glitz/glam of the average women's watch.
It's perfect for any attire: if you are looking to add some feminine flair to a white button-up, a bit of power to a lace top and shorts, or both flair and power, it mixes and matches. It's simply gorgeous with everything I have worn it with. I highly recommend!!!
It's not without faults though, despite being made for women, you will likely need to add several notches to the wrist band (I had to add three) as even set to the smallest notch the band is sized for a very large women's wrist. So I recommend acquiring a leather puncher (I found one that took about 30s to use and worked well for about $6 here on Amazon).
